Our taxi driver from the airport was not able to find the address so he eventually dropped us off at a family member's apartment. The host went out of his way to come pick us up so we would not need to pay for another taxi. Most people would not do that."

Restaurants, bus stops, promenade, park, small markets and, most importantly, real Italian Gelato just steps away. The owners were available to answer questions as needed. We asked for a coffeepot and they were happy to provide the pot and coffee. Airport transportation was booked for us...

(we're super quiet ppl). Every single morning we were woken up by the neighbours! It sounded like they were standing in our room having a full blown conversation. That was beyond irritating.
