"Excellent staff, always friendly & helpful. Outstanding location one block from historical centre. Lovely spacious room, modern bathroom. The only negative: parking is not €10/day. The parkade next to the hotel allows 15 min free. But a full day is €16.50 = €33 for 2 days. Luckily street parking up a hill as suggested by reception. . "I particularly liked the staff who were all very friendly. There was one in particular who was a model employee but I have forgotten his name. He did everything. Worked at the front desk, bar, kitchen, and he was very fast. He transferred our heavy suitcases with a smile and no fuss. His employer should be very proud of him. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and by the water."

"Beautifully located overlooking a small beach and the ocean. We enjoyed the sunny terrace when weather permitted where we would watch the colourful fishing boats come back each afternoon.The house was exceptionally clean and modern, with large open plan living on the ground floor with patio doors to make the most of the sea views. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, together with a full bathroom with bath and shower above, and separate shower room. There are steps up to a mezzanine level with two beds. From the main stairs there is access to a double bedroom with access to a roof terrace and a further toilet.There is street parking outside, and there is off-road parking for a medium sized car (narrow access). The quiet location is fantastic, you can easily walk a few minutes into town with its bars and restaurants, go and watch the fishing boats or enjoy longer walks. We loved using the house as a base to explore both Guilvinec and the surrounding area.Corinne was a great host and very quick to respond to any queries we had before and during our stay."
