Easy to get to and well connected to transport
Fantastic location close to the wholesale clothing markets and close to the metro trains, so very easy to get around and connect to the airport on the trains. Good value for money

I arrived hotel at 1:00 am in night. I booked a deluxe twin room but they gave me standard room. After debate of 30 minutes they agreed to give me my booked room and asked me to wait an hour for that.

Unfortunately, there was bed bugs. Jeremiah was woken up repeatedly and badly bitten all over his neck and back by these bed bugs. He had to lay towels all over his bed and pillow in order to get some night’s rest. When he told this to the staff during his checkout, they brushed it off. The establishment has so much to improve — from customer service to cleanliness. Overall, this was a disappointing stay…

The hotel was less than average. The staff were unfriendly, and unprofessional with substandard customer service. Smoking by other guests in non-smoking rooms were noted and no expectations by staff to adhere to such policy. The "Zen" rooms had better bedding, however, no privacy what so ever between the room and toilet/shower. Lighting in room was very poor and ventilation was poor. Nothing special about breakfast with limited food selection.

This hotel is NOT 4 stars definitely. But at least the sheets & towels were clean & changed everyday . Air conditioning working, Water pressure strong & airport bus just right around the corner. Metro around 5-8 mins. Walk. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast as there are fairly food choices around the area. And we got the deluxe room as per reviews. Pay a bit more for a better sized room

Daily change of sheets and towels. comfy beds.
Housekeeping was great.Beds was very comfortable . Sheets and towels was change daily. Food was average. Reception staff speaks very limited English.The hotel was too far from CBD. The carpet in the room was full of stains and appeared very dirty. As a customer I recommend the management remove the carpet and change this with tiles or wood looking tiles. Water was leaking somewhere in the bathroom. TV channels were all in Chinese except at 930pm when the CNN news is in English.. Good stay still.

Location: walking distance to : a)Airport bus no. 1 stops(last stop) very near to hotel, fare is 18 yuan 1 way per person, journey about 30 minutes. b)Guangzhou Railway Station, metro & subway(lines 2 & 5), bus terminal c)shopping for clothing, leather at Baima & First Tunnel Underground malls d) Abi Waqqas Mosque & Halal Food 2.Room (deluxe double) is great with fridge, coffee maker, free 2 bottles of drinking water per day, tv, aircon, efficient housekeeping/cleaning. 3. Snags: a) staff not proficient in English(only Chinese) b) wifi & internet not available

Good for transportation and overall is good.
Location is good for transportation to metro railway station and there are many shopping mall near the hotel. Overall is good. Food is ok not impress but not bad. The carpet is a bit collect dust and smell. Not suitable for Non-smoker.

My recent trip was wonderful with my family in Guangzhou.If it were not for help book the room at Xinghe Xiang Jiang hotel by ExpediaThai-speaking by phone assistance (Mr Thanawat), it wouldn't be smooth. This service is essential to help guarantee that the clients would be fearless or free from stress in travelling to non English speaking countries, and they 'd get good service. Though not many staff speaking English, they truly intend to provide and offer fully-hearted services. If we try to communicate and tell what we want, I believe they would serve. For instance, the hotel rearrange a new spaced room for our family after we requested without charges. The reasonable 18 RMB (Yuan) shuttle bus (Airport to the station in front of the Xinghe hotel) is fantastic and most convenient). Don't need to pay more expensive taxi. Also the bus terminal, railway station and metro are just 5 -minute walk from the hotel. Of course, very happy for staying here. We recommended!

Been staying there whenever in GZ for the convenience of the airport coach which is 3min away from hotel. Business at Hotel seems to be brisk. Maintenance should be stepped up, carpets quite badly stained and bath towels are fraying. Check-in was slow only 1 counter and another counter was handling check-out. 2 ladies were just standing around. Staff were courteous and guests were greeted every morning & evening when around the lobby area. Ask for rooms at far end, nearer the park else the railway tracks that run behind the hotel can be noisy.

Would not recommend. On arrival there was mold covering the bottom of the bathroom and bedroom. The neighborhood lacks restaurants. The train track is next door so if you don't like train noise this place is not a good choice. I prepaid for my stay so was stuck and couldn't leave. Asked Hotels.com to remove them from the site. Room cleaners try but cleanliness is not the top priority. No services in hotel other than small store. Breakfast very poor (and restaurant had mold on the walls next to the food).

Nice hotel closer to metro and railway station.
Overall the experience was good. Hotel can improve breakfast options and for dinner have menu in English. Staff can speak average English. Closer to some decent eatery but take a taxi as walking can be complicated with the road structure in Guangzhou. Ya habibi and Quality kitchen are opposite hotel. Convenient store is located just outside the hotel which was very handy.

The service I received from all stuff was superb. True to the reviews I had read prior to my booking, the carpet in the room was unbearably filthy. Thankfully, my room was cleaned daily, the towels and slippers replaced everyday. Breakfast only catered for Chinese guests and was the same everyday. I lived on boiled eggs and cereal I had brought from home. Overall, my stay was good but could have been great if the carpet in the room was clean and breakfast options were wider.

Beaware of deposit return
Hotel is in back alley and not so easy to find. Breakfast is ok if you like Chinese breakfast selection. My deposit was never returned so at the end it cost much more and would be better to book something else.

Nice room, with just a little mildew.
With the hotel being convenient to the Guangzhou Rail Station, it was easy for me to rest there for a couple of days, then walk to the station. Unfortunately, the room did have a mildew problem...there was a large stain on the wall by the entryway...but for the most part, the staff was very courteous, the room overall was nice, and I would stay there again.

A good hotel for the price and location.
I have no real complaints about the hotel. The staff was helpful. A couple of them spoke English, and that made things easier, although I intend to learn Chinese while I am here. There was one issue; the room did have a bit of a mildew smell, and I spotted the area where was located, but other than that, no real problems.

If you are traveling to buy goods this is the best location and the hotel is one of the best inexpensive hotels that I ever stay in China. As soon as you walk in you can smell the perfume aroma of a clean hotel . All the bathrooms are clean and they also have english speaking staff and ask for Miss Maggie who speak good english. I recomend upgrade to Deluxe room on the 8th floor. All rooms are quite . Enjoy it .

Nice Stay
Nothing was bad about this hotel. Newly renovated and hotel staffs were friendly with great service-minded. Communicating with hotel reception is not a problem. Walking just a few minutes from a metro and approx. 10 mins to wholesale shopping area. Breakfast is chinese food but overall is good. The bed was comfy, I had a very good sleep.
