"We stayed in a room at the main building, not in one of the cottages. Liked: The view of the mountains and ocean was fantastic! The size of the room was adequate for 2 people. The high ceiling made the room look bigger. The large window provided a great view of the mountains and ocean. The unit was clean and the washroom was large and upgraded. Areas for improvement: Need more shelves and hooks in the bathroom. Pillows were too thin and there were only two of them. Mattress was not comfortable. Long gravel driveway from the highway to the property was full of potholes."

"Stodt Hotel is convenient and clean. The first floor suite I was in was noisy from upstairs rooms and the hall. The linens were very rough. For cooking there was an induction stove with 2 burners so cooking is a bit limited. There was plenty of space."

"A wonderfully cozy room with a phenomenal, unforgettable view! The room was small but completely functional, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff here were all very kind and helpful, and the fish stew we ordered for lunch was lovely. Would absolutely come back, and would recommend!"

"The Old Post office was a large guesthouse very close to the Kirkjufell waterfall and mountai. The mountain was well seen from the guesthouse. The rooms were quite large, with private bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but ok for a simple meal. The whole place was very clean. We liked staying there."

"The apartment is a studio of about 30 sq meters. It is well furnished with a washer and a dryer. Located next to the ocean in a small town, it is convenient and walkable. The location of the apartment is misleading. Its entrance is on the back street. It will be great if the owner includes a map in the instructions."

"The room was very comfortable & clean. The description of the property says there is a bar/lounge. There is no bar/lounge on site, which was disappointing after traveling. I was expecting to grab some food when we arrived. There is a restaurant close by, but only open for breakfast and a few hours for dinner. There were only a few restaurants in the area and some food trucks. The staff was very helpful."
