「The outside does not look very nice, but the inside does. The location was incredible. The bunkbeds however, did not work for us. They were way too noisy. You might want to bring coffee. We had to buy some because there was only a tiny amount there. There is no stove or oven FYI, that did not bother us at all other than that the kitchen is well stocked. 」

Both bedrooms and the bathroom are up a tight flight of stairs - not an issue for most but wouldn’t work for someone with mobility problems. The owner was very responsive and allowed us a late checkout. Overall solid place for two or three people. 」

「This is our 4th or 5th stay at one of Matthew’s properties and our experience was as we have come to expect. His properties are comfortably furnished, clean, and consistent with their descriptions. We have never needed assistance as there have never been issues with check in or maintenance, but I have no doubt it would be handled quickly and efficiently. When I come home to visit my central IL hometown, I always look for a listing of Mathew’s to use during my stay. 」
