"Good location with lots of restaurants around. However, be prepared for nightlife until about 2am and then it’s pretty quiet."

"The hotel is rough around the edges, rooms need a minor refresh, but they are clean, adequately supplied and the beds, linens and pillows are excellent. Breakfast buffet featured a wide variety of fresh and delicious food and drinks - juices and coffee and teas- and was well worth the very affordable price. The hotel location is excellent if you prefer the Opera district, as I do, and with its entrance within the Passage Jouffroy, it is unique. There are so many restaurants, pubs, cafes and patisseries literally steps from the hotel, it is ideal.The staff was mulitlingual, friendly and very helpful. The multilingual staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my concerns."

"The room was pleasantly large by European standards and the location was made it very easy to get around Paris. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and really hope to return!"

"Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Roubaix. My room was clean and comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better…perfect for getting around and exploring the area. The decor was interesting and fun and gave the whole place a unique lively vibe. A special mention to the lobby pups…they were such a charming touch and made coming and going even more enjoyable. The hot showers were excellent (always appreciated after a long day!), and the staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again "

"The main concern is the stairs to go to main bed. Extremely dangerous. There is a sofa bed down stairs but is super uncomfortable. Body towels were smelly to cigarettes. And there was a mouse in the kitchen and spiders in the toilet. I ask the owner if I can cancel second night because it was too dangerous to go upstairs and even worst with a toddler. The solution he gave me was not to go upstairs and use the sofa to sleep. Told him about the smelly towels, and said that i was lying. Definitely not recommending this place. First time that I made bad review on a stay."

"The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, so the exterior was not very appealing. We stayed on the first floor, and unfortunately the view from our window was disappointing—it overlooked a lower rooftop that had visible garbage. That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge was decent. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, but a key drawback—at least for our room—was the unpleasant window view."

"The AC was not working, we were told that they have an AI system that determines when to turn the AC on. We literally slept while opening the windows."

"Perfect choice for us! The only issue was lack of early check-in. Our flight arrived in Paris at 7:30 am but we couldn't check in until 3:00 pm. It was helpful to be able to store our luggage while we waited but we were too tired to do much of anything while we waited to get into our room."

"The staff was amazing and helpful as well as super friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable however it was a bit small. However we’re in the heart of Paris so I believe that is to be expected. We were able to walk to many places and restaurants."
