"We loved our stay at the Briar Barn Inn. It was a perfect stay for us and the out of town guests for our son's wedding at the Grove. The rooms were modern, spacious, clean and elegant . I loved all the gas fireplaces and beautifully decorated sitting rooms throughout the Inn. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. A simple , but delicious continental breakfast was perfect!"

"The host was very responsive when I had questions. He was extremely accommodating, he gave us a little extra time given the snowfall etc, and he had the stairs shoveled for us in the morning. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was a very nice place, warming and charming. We'd definitely stay there again. Thank you! "

"Location is convenient to everything in Ipswich. We were there for a funeral so that was most important to us. we didn't spend much time at the house, but it seemed to have everything you'd need. It's a very long driveway to the house, but it was well plowed when we got there. House was clean and well furnished."

"Apartment is large and spacious. It is perfect for our family of five. It had great parking and you could walk around the quiet town. Location allowed train access to Boston and Salem. It was a quick drive to the shore. We had some trouble with the above neighbor causing damage to the property, but the owner was honest and respectful to refund us money when our travel insurance would not cover it. I only give 4 stars as the dishwasher was broken and I hate doing dishes on vacation. Also, the wood stairs were extremely slippery with rain and snow and we kept falling or slipping on them without a towel or rug in the main entrance. "

"The host was welcoming. A bit too much. The WiFi password was wrong. There was no heat til I let him know 24 hours later. The tv did not work. My daughter carried a big one from the basement and it did work. We felt as if we were under surveillance. The camera at the door was a bit too much for us"
