"We came to enjoy 10 days on the Lake and see if we’d like to buy a home on the Lake. First off, a great, excellent Lake! It’s warm and so quiet. No worries about too much competition w other boats. I paddled across the lake and not one other boat appeared. Lots of fish jump but we failed to catch any. The house had a little island in front of it. There are so many different kinds of birds which we loved! The dock is gorgeous and brand new. The water near the home is quite shallow but we boated and and floated to see other parts of the lake. We spent hours on the deck. The house is well represented by the photos to a T. The screen porch was a great place for hanging out and playing games. They had extra fans which really helped. The AC and plenty of hot water were key for our group. We used all the fun things seen in the pictures. The west side of the lake (the Greenwood side) is clearly more wealthy. The east side where Nicks home is has more mobile and modular homes. Driving in to the home feels a bit sketchy but literally we saw none of the neighbors. Nicks house is awesome amongst the others. Plus my son got engaged on the dock!"

"I grew up in Greenwood so it was fun to this old hotel brought back to her former glory. We had a great stay and it was fun to be able to walk around in uptown. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly!"

"Exceeded expectations!Words don't do justice to the experience we enjoyed at "Water's Edge" - this lakehouse is AWESOME! The house is BIG (3 levels means lots of space for extended families). There is so much to do onsite (the dock, kayaks, basketball, ping pong, relaxing, grilling, TONS of board games and yard games too). And the location is great because it's on the same side as Greenwood proper (which means easy access to Publix, Chickfila, Outback, The Mall, and more). We enjoyed the dock most of all - just relaxing on the porch swing or chairs on the dock and floating in the water listening to some music was exactly what we were looking for. We also cooked family dinners at night, baked cookies, had Ping Pong Championships, caught a couple fish, and even had a 3-generation Monopoly game which was a blast. Watching a scary movie together was exciting. Outside the home we rented a boat from Skippers, hiked the Lake Greenwood State Park and isited the 96 Historical Site. In short, our family vacation was FANTASTIC and Water's Edge was a big reason why. The hosts Randy and Cathy were very responsive and friendly and I was amazed at how well stocked the property was - literally every thing we could have needed for our stay was already provided for us. Clearly Randy and Cathy care about the experience of their guests and their love of Waters Edge is evident. The keepsake coffee mug was an unexpected surprise! We look forward to staying at Water's Edge again! Thanks :)"
