「Absolutely loved our stay at Blackwood Valley Suites. Our tent and gazebo broke during the strong winds the night before and we didn’t know where else to go. Irwin was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud and the shower after a rough night in a tent was truly bliss. Plus it’s only a short drive from Balingup and Bridgetown. Beautiful scenery and just so peaceful. We will definitely be back!」

「Lovely clean room, friendly owners who loved to chat with us. They cooked a beautiful breakfast as well. The main bed was wonderful, but my travel partner said the fold out couch was not quite so comfy.」

「It’s cliche but this is a little slice of paradise. Very clean & well appointed. We loved sitting by the fire enjoying the stunning views. This property is in a quiet location & we unplugged & got back to nature. Our little dog Milly had a ball exploring the garden. The large bath & sauna were an absolute treat. We will be back. 「The bed side tables had not been wiped down. Spills still visible. There was a bath tub but in the confirmation email the day before we arrived said due to water restrictions only to be used for showers. Stained towels and crockery. No microwave. Has an air fryer. Great location, lots of birds and animals. Bed was very comfortable. Good heating. Pleasant stay altogether」

「Fantastic for family getaway. Exactly what we wanted. Great layout, beds good size and comfortable, kitchen, dining/family and bathrooms all just right. Verandah with seating, tables etc had great outlook over the valley. Good price also. Already recommended to others and we will use again.」
