The breakfast was pretty solid, good variety of food. And the staff was excellent, all very friendly & helpful. And the hotel is pretty centrally located so walkable to many shops and restaurants. But that’s where the positives end. The room was not great. The hotel has central heating so you cannot adjust the temperature in your room. The bathroom was small and had a lot of quirks - it took at least 2 flushes each time to get the toilet to work, the sink and bathtub kept backing up and drained slowly, and the towel rack was literally INSIDE the shower. Also, the lighting in the room was very poor, although after discussing this with the front desk they were able to bring us an extra lamp, which did help. Overall, staff was wonderful but I don’t think I would stay here again.

I loved staying at the Patterson. Lovely room/house with the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The entire staff was amazing and so friendly. Walkable area with restaurant and things to do.
