Relaxing stay in Granity

We had a lovely stay in Granity. The house was lovely, clean and tidy. Had a bit of rain while there, so the covered outdoor areas where fantastic. Outdoor bath was great too.

Cute bach

We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway.

Romantic Staycation

Lovely quiet and peaceful. Was just right for a Valentine’s surprise. This place gives you a warm hug when you first walk in the door and when you leave. Comfortable bed with lovely sheeting, smart tv was great entertainment. The out door bath is wonderful for relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back only a 2 hour drive from home on the wonderful coast road.

Great West Coast Bach

Great clean, lovely bach with everything you need. Nice outdoor dining area. Close access to beach. One suggestion would be to replace the queen mattress in main bedroom which is sunken in the middle and uncomfortable to sleep on. Ended up using the double bed in the spare room instead which was fine.

Everything and more.

Inside stone kearns do abound Outside native bush all around Native birds serenade in the trees Weka strolling where they please Angry surf pounding on the beach A sheltered veranda welcome retreat An outdoor bath and BBQ Silently await for you A love of the “Coast” came from this We'll be back for the bliss But now the sun sinks into sea Thank you for the memories.

Gorgeous Coastal Cottage!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful wee beachside cottage. Couldn't ask for more, with birdsong, native life (including some large spiders!), waves crashing to shore, the odd passing coal train, friendly sheep and goat "neighbours"! It was a lovely, peaceful autumn getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beach in the mornings and got to see the natural beauty of the area. Everything was clean and well thought out. The only thing I noticed was the queen mattress in the main bedroom was quite soft and had a roll together feel, which was a little uncomfortable. We had two teenagers with us who slept in the sleepout and enjoyed their stay in "nature". Thank you again for a memorable experience.

Excellent Holiday Cottage

We had a great time staying in Granity. It's a lovely little cottage with a cosy fire, the roar of the sea, and not far down the road from some great attractions. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Characterful comfortable bach

Pretty much as expected and we enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the proximity to the beach. Trains were more frequent than advised but they did not trouble us. The resident weka was a plus. Would recommend this property for a delightful whimsical West Coast stay.
