Heating and hot water broke on Friday so shower/bath was lukewarm and cold room. which spoiled our evening a little, unfortunately. Staff were lovely and resolved it ready for the next day/eve. 「Lovely old pub in a little village, no car park as such, staff were lovely and helpful but room was dusty on skirts and tables and the complimentary biscuits were out of date, two of them were October 2024, the small long Life milks had expired early October as well. We couldn’t get Wi-Fi in the room despite the instructions being in a welcome book and we couldn’t get the tv on anything. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.」
