The price was affordable compared to others. It was clean and though older, appeared well kept. Nice bedding. Next to a pretty state park, though a few abandoned buildings as well. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfy bed

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The TV was fine. I was there for business. I stayed in the hotel for a little bit during the day and the check-in process was very straightforward.

The staff was nice enough to recommend/show me their non-smoking since I accidentally booked a smoking room. We definitely would not stay again due to the smoke smell in the whole area. The uncleanliness was a huge factor into why we would not stay again as well.

Well worth the rate

Arrived late evening and the room had the heater on so within 30 minutes of AC on high or so it was cooled down and it was fine.

It’s about what you pay for. Some towels had holes in them, a little bit of mold along the top of the bathroom, and the toilet handle constantly got stuck down which would cause the toilet to run until lifted up. But honestly seemed clean enough and had the state park right behind it with a small lake that was nice to sit by

There was no room to sit for breakfast, only 1 waffle maker. I didn't have gone to wait for the man in front of me, who was fixing 5 waffles. So we left. There wasn't enough food. The orange juice was good. The shower was great. The light over sink didn't work. But it was inexpensive.

Motel is not well maintained. There were hole in the bedspreads. Ceiling was flaking off onto the beds. Mold was present and staff attempted to cover it up with room fresheners rather then treat the problem. When I complained the desk clerk indicated that it was not his problem and no one was coming in before 9. On the positive side, the showers were warm, water did drain and the tub was clean. However there was mold in the bathroom. I think the new owners just took on more then they anticipated. I don’t mind dated rooms as long as they function well. This did not make the cut

While if you need a place to just sleep, this is a great place. I did like there were two doors to get into the room, so it was an easy load out from the vehicle into the room. But you can tell the cleaning is the basics 0 as looking behind the nightstand between the beds, which was pulled out due to an outlet there was a good layer of dust along the floor board. For the bathroom, they didn't actually have a garbage can, you had to use the one under the sink outside the bathroom and the towel bar itself was twisted and dented. They did offer breakfast, which wad moderate at best. They had biscuits and gravy -- but when they restocked the biscuits were still slightly frozen and the gravy was in a crockpot -- and when they refilled that -- it wasn't anything that was heated to just stay warm. It was straight from the can, so still cold. I powered my way through the one I made for myself but for the kids I made sure to microwave it to make sure it was warm for them.
