This hotel is dated and sits amid long-closed businesses. Inside, the carpet in the hallways is dirty. The front desk area is cluttered. The staff-person who welcomed me was efficient but not friendly. The room itself was also dated, but it was fairly clean and the linens were clean. It was about 50% the cost of hotels in the area, which is a distinct positive.

2 business beside the hotel have closed and they are not keeping up their properties- hence the hotel's appearance looks a bit shabby. pot holes on road leading to hotel need fixed- could loose a car in one of them. clean beds - thanks

Avoid at All Costs – Unsafe Area and Rude, Unprofessional Staff I booked this hotel online expecting a safe and decent place to stay, but upon arrival, I was shocked by the environment. The area around the property was filled with individuals who appeared to be under the influence and loitering near the entrance. As I parked, several people began walking toward my vehicle, and I genuinely felt threatened as though I was about to be jumped. I immediately left the premises for my own safety. When I called the hotel to explain the situation, the woman who answered apparently the owner or manager was dismissive, rude, and shockingly unprofessional. Instead of showing any concern for my safety, she claimed the hotel was “safe” because of their cameras. Cameras don’t stop break-ins or threats, especially when the entire property is unfenced and wide open to anyone. She refused to offer any resolution or refund and blamed me for not checking the area before booking an absurd response. Her attitude made it clear they care more about keeping your money than your safety or experience. This place operates more like a scam than a legitimate hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone, especially if you value your personal safety and peace of mind. Please avoid this place and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Very clean and friendly. Enjoyed the stay, it's just a little dated and the parking lot area and entrance have some large potholes.

Sitting between an abandoned gas station and long-defunct restaurant, it was the ony business on a dead end road. Signage was a vinyl sign tied to a post in front of it. Most electric outlets in the room did not work. Breakfast advertised consisted of bananas, apples and bread and nutella spread.

The price was affordable compared to others. It was clean and though older, appeared well kept. Nice bedding. Next to a pretty state park, though a few abandoned buildings as well. I would definitely stay there again.

The facilities are very old. Room smelled of stale cigarettes. Bedding was old but clean. Lots of hot water which was a plus. Hair dryer was broken. Air conditioning was good.

So many things. To start a strange man was sitting on a couch in the lobby. When we came back down a few minutes later there was a white powder impression where he had been sitting. When we tried to fill the jetted tube the water that came out of the faucet was green. And the tub felt unsafe. Deep and no handrails. Then the water coming out of the other faucet was rust brown. In the early morning my husband encountered a roach. And let’s not start on the outdated decor or tv so old the picture was fuzzy. Surrounding the place were a rundown closed conscience store/gas station and on the other side a rundown/closed restaurant. Will never go back

won't stay again at this dump

First thing noticed was how dirty the stairs were. The carpet in our room was stained. We were tired from setting up for a gun show and wanted to freshen up, only one wash cloth in room. Had to go ask for another one. Sheet son bed were filthy. Next morning wanted to complain at front desk, but had to wait in line as other guest was complaining about a cockroach found in their room and ask if there would be any adjustment on price of room and he was told to go down the road and pay $300.00 for a room. We did finally get to tell front desk that sheets needed to be change in our room. You could tell there was no concern about dirty sheets. The second night we ask for clean sheets and changed them ourselves Was told sheets only get changed every three days. Guess we hit the wrong day for clean sheets. The morning we left we pulled the sheets from the bed hoping it would prompt them to wash them. This time NO wash cloths in room so used hand towels instead. When the bathroom door was left shut for a period of time, and when you opened it you could smell what was a sewer gas smell. Did not realize we would be able to post pictures or we would have taken some. Not that it would change anything anyway. The second morning while having some breakfast at 8:30 am we are ask if we were done and doors are shut to dining area, Sign on door says breakfast goes until 9:30 am. this place probably does not get repeat customers. Not that hard to take a little pride in what you own.
