Modern Four Bedroom Home ON THE BEACH in Grand Bahama

"The home and property were just amazing, and even better than the pictures! Our hosts were very proactive and detailed in all communications from start to finish, providing guidance on transportation, food, activities, amenities of the home, and all of it was extremely helpful for non-native folks who did not know the area. The ocean and beachfront access and view were simply amazing. both from the inside of the home and from the back-covered porch area. The location is quiet and peaceful, with only the sound of the waves breaking on the shore with a lovely breeze to accompany it. The home was extremely clean, modern, and absolutely beautiful in every respect. There was not a single thing missing that could have made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Our caretaker was very attentive and periodically checked in with us to ensure everything was in order. The local islanders were very welcoming and happy that we were visiting, and extended their hospitalities in abundance. A short walk down the beach will bring you to Pelicans by the Sea restaurant and bar, and has amazing food and drink selections. The staff there were very friendly and we had great conversations getting to know one another. We also enjoyed the Conch Festival, with lots of local dishes and flavors of the Bahamas. We would definitely like to return again, with additional family members if possible! Just a fantastic location and property that far exceeded our expectations!"

"The home was on the East end of the island and off the beaten path. We did not see anyone else during our stay. We enjoyed the beach (snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, exploring tidal pools, swimming, relaxing). Snorkle gear, life vests, kayaks all included. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, garbage bags was a plus (AND a washer and dryer). Lucayan National Park very close. Wifi was weak but enough for doing some work on the laptop. A/C was a comfort as the temps were near 90 with very high humidity. Both Dan and Leyland were responsive and helpful. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in the nature of the Bahamas, ocean right outside your door, nothing to do but relax and play in the ocean! I can still hear the sound of the waves, and I cannot wait to go back."

"We loved this house and having the beach entirely to ourselves. The pool was fantastic, as was the balcony overlooking the ocean. Our group of ten was very comfortable. The house is well-equipped. Plenty of dishes, towels, kitchen stuffā¦.Leyland was very helpful answering questions and Kassiās takeout down the road really hit the spot! Perfect house for lots of privacy and family time."

"These cottages in Pelican Point were absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We wanted to spend half of our time on Grand Bahama on the eastern part of the island and then spend the second half in Freeport. If you are a fan of unspoiled private beaches, then this is the place for you. We absolutely loved being the only people on the beach for miles. Husband is an avid fly fisherman, and his ability go out right the front door and fish the flats at low tide was heaven for him. Be prepared to stop at Solomon's in Freeport and pick up some groceries before heading to the cottage. But once you arrive, the cottage is set up to give you everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once in the area there is a restaurant practically right next door (Pelicans by the Sea) and then another restaurant in McLean's Town (EJ's) -- both are delicious. The cottages were well equipped and pristine upon arrival. We can't wait to come back!"
