The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently. Fantastic Houseboat `Splendid` with Tender Kaag
Monnickendam
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (7 reviews)
"We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building."
