There is no room service. They do not change towels or remove trash. Otherwise, perfect!

When we arrived there was no-one in the hotel and the door was locked. We called the phone number given, but there was no reply, so we went away for an hour and almost booked another hotel. When we returned we had to phone again and this time the staff opened the door remotely. We found our room key but could not get it to open the room door, so we called again. The staff told us how to use the electronic key. We saw no staff at all until we went for breakfast the next morning. Generally, the reception was the worst we have ever experienced. The room was large but old-fashioned and not very light. Otherwise ok.

Charming hotel in Görlitz
A charming hotel. Easy walk from the train station, and located near the historical sites in Görlitz. Breakfast was excellent, and the honor bar in the back courtyard was a cool amenity. The room was large with antique furnishings and a modern bathroom. No air conditioning, but with the windows open it didn't get too warm. The staff was friendly and spoke English. All in all a nice place to stay.
