Glenfinnan area is perfect. There are lots of trees and wild flowers. Loch Shiel is very beautiful and intriguing. Access to the famous railroad viaduct is great with lots of good views and opportunities for photos.

"There were a lot of negative reviews for this hotel, but honestly, I enjoyed my stay. The reception area is nice with modern furnishings and views of the lake, the breakfast was tasty and also had nice views, the bar is nice to have in case you want a drink! Nice place to stay for a night / weekend
"Unmanned - you get code to the lockbox to access the lodges via email on the day. Nice enough place to stay for a couple of nights. Basic facilities but no complaints. Place was clean with plenty fresh towels. Curtains let through quite a bit of light which was the only downside. Would recommend"
