"Staff were great and helpful, room cleanliness was extremely substandard. Ensuite bathroom felt like a public toilet. Carpets felt grimy. Bedding had blood and large yellow stains. “Shared living space” is two chairs and a coffee table in a hallway. Hallway smelt like smoke. Booked for two nights and ended up leaving after the first. ‘The Mill hotel’ is only a 5 minute drive away and around the same price, absolutely a steal for the price. "Really good price. I came during Chinese new year and it wasn’t possible to get anything at that rate. The room was well appointed and had some bars on the window, which may have made you feel like it was unsafe. I didn’t mind it, but it had carpet on the floor and my husband felt the need to move around with flip-flops. Again when you see the price they charged I felt it was a perfectly fine room."
