"Our stay at Sea La Vie was wonderful! It was the perfect place for a quiet weekend away with the family. We spent most of our time on the large balcony, enjoying the breeze and the beautiful view of the ocean. The house was the perfect size and we loved that it accommodated our dog! The proximity and accessibility to the beach was so nice - we didn’t even need to bring a wagon or tons of supplies, as it was only a few steps to the house to grab whatever we needed. Just something to note for future travelers, there isn’t any shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided, so be sure to pack those things! Also, we would have loved more areas to hang bathroom towels to dry. Communication with Cathy and Eric was excellent - very quick to respond to our messages during our stay and check-in was a breeze. The house was clean and tidy, although there was a lot of pet hair on the comforters. We also noticed significant stains on the mattresses and pillows after taking off the sheets at the end of our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and The Big Store was a convenient 10 minute drive to get all our food and supplies. Thank you, Cathy and Eric for a lovely stay! We will be back!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful time! Things could not have gone more smoothly. The hosts were amazing!! They communicated quickly when I reached out. Their check in instructions were thorough and perfect. The home was labeled and very thoughtfully put together. It was also spotlessly clean and just beautiful. We were right on the beach!! I would absolutely recommend this home and these hosts. Thank you SO much for a wonderful stay!!!"

"Very clean accommodations. Was in contact with the host,with quick response. Our host ,Dan , is continually working to make the properties even better,eg: rebuilding the fishing structure in this off season. Great location, especially if you like a quiet neighborhood, quite ,uncrowded beaches and coffee at sunrise...on the beach. The bolivar peninsula is one of our favorites, great food( try Josés, Tia Juanitas, or one of the other friendly staffed eateries),a ride across the ferry to do some Dolphin watching, or just walk the less traveled beaches for some shell gathering ."

"We loved the location of the house! Right on the beach made it feel so private! We absolutely loved the pool! It was clean and refreshing. There were so many different things to entertain the kids: beach toys, train tracks, books, Legos and TV with Disney Plus! The house is big and opened, stocked with plenty of dishes and many places for people to sit - perfect for big crowds! The outdoor grill and eating area was awesome with shade and a breeze. We loved that the kids got their own space, and the extra fridge on their level was great for when the upstairs fridge was full. The decor was super cute and done well - not overwhelming. The kids loved picking out the ocean animal they wanted to eat off of for each meal. It is a short drive to the ferry and we loved spotting dolphins on each ride! (The ferry rides are free!) Galveston, which is only about 30 min away has lots of attractions, museums, and shopping. There were a few cosmetic issues that were going to be addressed by maintenance, the oven didn't have all the knobs on it, but you could still get them to work if you pitched it just right and used a lighter if the striker didn't light it. We did not use the dishwasher because it was missing the bottom spinner, so I am not sure if it worked or not.We loved the mood lighting in the master bedroom and the kitchen. It made the house feel so cozy at night. Would love coming here again!"
