This was more than a cabin... it was a very nice house. We loved it. There were just 4 of us, so we didn't use the basement bedrooms. Very clean. It was a great place fur us to stay. I didn't read the details enough to know that the master bedroom had a jacuzzi tub... but that was it. No shower. That wasn't my favorite. Otherwise, this worked great for us.

Log home

Very nice property on a dead end road very quiet very peaceful. We enjoyed hiking all of Vernon county parks and the one state park.

Just Wonderful

The cabin was very clean and so comfortable. The most beautiful views to wake up to and we had so much fun walking the field in the backyard. Our little girl had such a blast - we all did! Can’t wait to return!

Ridgewood Retreat Cabin

Overall this is a beautiful secluded spacious cabin , well appointed warm cozy cabin decor and everything we needed was there for a weekend. Located at the end of a rural gravel road outside of genoa wisconsin ( about 30 min drive). Beds were very comfy with quality bedding and plenty of blankets and pillows. If you want to sleep in I suggest sleeping in the basement bedroom as the sunshine and woodpeckers make sure to help you naturally rise 😂 The yard was well manicured and the home was well cared for and updated. A few snafus with check in as vrbo didn't have the key code in our check in email. *note bc this cabin is remote you might not have cell service at cabin. We needed to drive to town to get a hold of VRBO and owner, the owner did make things right once we finally got into property. You may want to download a map so you dont get lost getting there as well. Its the very last property on the road We only slept and showered there but would love to come back and enjoy all the amenities like the fire pit and fire place and deck. The shower is on the second floor off the loft and jacuzzi is in masterbedroom on first floor. Thanks for hosting us.

Peaceful woodland retreat

We enjoyed our short stay in this country retreat and experienced beautiful sunsets both nights. The house is a 10-15-minute drive from Viroqua. The beds are extremely comfortable.

Peace & Quiet

Property came exactly as presented. This is pretty remote location but not too far from Viroqua. Lacrosse is also readily accessible. The remote beauty of this setting is great. Extremely fitting for a group looking to "get away".

Secluded getaway

Comfortable house at the end of a dead end road. Very secluded. Plenty of space in house and yard. Beautiful dark sky area for star gazing. Kitchen has an island with 4 stools for sitting. No other dining table inside the house. Patio Table and 4 chairs on back deck if the weather cooperates.

Great cabin experience

Family get away did not disappoint. Fun had by all in this spacious cabin. Everything was great just wish we had more chairs or bigger dining room table/chairs so we could all sit together for our dinner.

Beautiful stay

The cabin was so well laid out and beautifully decorated. The large windows in living room with double faced fireplace into kitchen was unique. Quiet and secluded. Great combination of beautiful surroundings and modern conveniences of wifi and smart TV. Large jacuzzi off master bedroom was a plus! The owner was very easy to communicate. Location to Viroqua and Genoa/Mississippi River is ideal. Loved the hike at Duck Egg County Forest, which is 10 minutes away.
