We went to Monarch each day and the location for the cabin was superb for that. We were close enough to town to visit the city and local restaurants as well. "Property is a nightmare. Plumbing is a know issue throughout the house. Jugs of drinking water are provided. It has too much furniture to move around. Closets and drawers are so full there is nowhere to put your stuff. It sits 30 feet off the main highway and that is not clear in the pictures. Plumbing was so bad, management had to move us after the first night off the mountain, 20 minutes into Salida. Management did work hard to make it right, but the property is not recommended. "
