This would be perfect for a couple or small family that packs light. Unfortunately, we were neither. Our family of four was visiting Yellowstone as part of a longer 2-week trip. We would have been fine if we could have unpacked, but there are no dressers at all simply because there's no room (so it's not their fault). If it was only my wife and me, we could have laid out our stuff on the bunk beds and put our empty suitcases in the loft. But we didn't have that option with our two teenagers occupying those spaces. So we were tripping over one another and our stuff.
To make matters worse, the outdoor garbage cans were full so we had to keep trash bags in the kitchen (where they may have leaked). The parking spot was small, so that free upgrade into a ginormous rental SUV may not be a good idea. We also found that the WiFi was slow when it worked intermittently (which turned into a much-needed push for our teenagers to get off their phones ... hahaha). And with temps in the 90s, the A/C simply wasn't enough to cool beyond the kitchen / living areas.
So why still give this cabin a good review? Because it's a *great* cabin for a couple! My wife and I would definitely go back. The host was great. The location was priceless: on the river with a view of the mountains. And we could walk anywhere. Need coffee in the morning? It's a minute away! So were great breakfast options, the market, food trucks, and convenience store. And in the shadow of Yellowstone! Just know it's small.
