"We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our time at the property.The house has a lot going for it—unbelievable views, excellent beach access, and a location close to great restaurants and the market. It’s also refreshing that this isn’t one of the ultra-modern, cookie-cutter homes taking over many of the islands. It has a more classic, relaxed island feel, which made for a great family trip.The host was outstanding—very responsive, easy to communicate with, and helpful in every way. My wife accidentally left her purse behind, and he quickly arranged to have it shipped back to us. He also recommended a golf cart company and pointed us to a nearby private dock just minutes away. The dock was a bit expensive but absolutely worth it for the convenience.The house was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the stack washer/dryer was a great bonus.A few areas could be improved. The kitchen and bathrooms feel dated for the price point. The hurricane shutters were the biggest issue—they are very loud even in a light breeze and led to multiple sleepless nights. The deck loungers were great, but without cushions (we were told to use towels), they were very uncomfortable.Overall, a beautiful location with a fantastic host—just needs a few updates to be excellent."

"My family of four spent the week here, and we LOVED this property! I think we would all agree that our favorite “room” in the house is the porch/deck! We thoroughly enjoyed lounging on it every single day, marveling at that outstanding view… the beautiful blue water, watching the boats come and go, looking at the stars at night… amazing! The special quiet of the early morning and late night is so very peaceful. The house is wonderfully located for lovely walks to Tahiti beach, SeaSpray marina, Abaco Inn. We rented a boat and loved exploring the nearby cays and had that perfect dock to tie up to each day. We also really enjoyed our own sandy beach. The caretaker Joanne was so accommodating and welcoming! We would absolutely recommend this lovely home and hope to come back soon! "

"We have stayed at many beautiful homes all over the islands but this place beats them ALL. The location is stunning and convenient. The home is gorgeous and clean and new and perfectly laid out for large families. We wanted for nothing while we were there. Our hosts were wonderful and polite and greated us on arrival on a Sunday to help get our luggage from boat to house. First Class!We all miss Tahiti badly and hope to return again soon. Thanks! "

"House is perfect! My second stay here at Second Wind. Location is great close to beach and a small grocery and great liquor store near by. Super easy check in. Inside is well appointed great appliances, bedding, etc.. Can’t say enough about Second Wind. It’s perfect! We will be back!"

"Little Fern Cottage is even better than advertised! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. We were given a welcome packet that had the ferry schedule, golf cart rental companies, etc. everything to make our stay on Elbow seamless. Location is a short walk or golf cart ride to everything you want to explore. We will be booking again soon. "

"It looked like all the rooms have a clear view of the sea and marina. This hotel is in need of a good refurbishment. The main pool , bar and place to eat are a walk away from the rooms. Not in the main building. On the positive side The staff are great but it’s overpriced for it’s current condition "
