「My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August and we loved it. The house was very comfortable, was in a good location and close to the beach. Everything was clean and the a/c was on so it was cool when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and it stayed nice and cool at all times. 「Great location, cute house! This house is a short walk to a very quiet beach, which is exactly what I was looking for. Pirates Beach is a great location due to being far enough from the Seawall to be quiet but close enough to drive back on forth for restaurants and shopping. 「My husband and I were in Surfside Beach to do some fishing. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the unit that contributed to a pleasant stay-big fluffy bath towels, extra toilet paper and paper towels, plenty of bedding, clear checkout directions, to name a few.We mentioned a couple of maintenance issues to the host that they were probably not aware of. 「One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The cottage and garage apartment and charming patio were absolutely perfect for us, our adult son, and our daughter and her fiancé. The nicely appointed kitchen made it easy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Quiet neighborhood was within easy walking or driving distance of everything we wanted to do in Galveston. "The staff was kind. The room was renovated. However, the noise was terrible. I have never experienced such a terrible noise. Was it B. Jiggers Lounge in the hotel? The loud sound of live performance was rumbling even at 1am, and I couldn't sleep at all! I felt sorry for my child. I had a terrible headache the next day and couldn't enjoy my trip at all."
