"Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! Lovely beach to chill on. "

"This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "Our stay at the Villa Bougainvillea was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. The home is so lovely and quiet and comforting. We enjoyed the pool and dining in the garden. "A lovely rooftop view, spacious, comfortable apartment. Clear, concise, communication with the host and her assistant who greeted us. When you rent, take a few extra minutes to learn how the locking system on the doors work. We managed, however did not really know how we unlocked them. "The bedside lamp was not working. There are no restaurants in the approximately and they only serve paninis. It has a beautiful view but it is quite the drive to get up there. The credit machine was not working so we had to pay cash. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is in a perfect location - walkable to plenty of restaurants and shops but also tucked away in a quiet area. We stayed in the panoramic suite and the views were exceptional. The hotel was spotless and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking a day at beach through the hotel staff at Lido La Pigna. When we come back to Sicily we will be staying here again! "

"Hotel is amazing, so many antiques and curiosity’s to look at. Very much old fashioned style. Stunning views, quiet location. Book an Etna view room as away from the road. Lots of choice for breakfast and the hotel restaurant just up the road, La Caverna is wonderful. From the pool, reception and the restaurant staff I really can’t fault them. This really is a wonderful hotel. A short walk up a hill is Castelmola for beautiful shops bars and lovely for a drink in the evening. Bus stop outside hote 15 mins to Taormina. You can walk down if fit. Great location "
