Beautiful seaside Victorian hotel! Staff were stretched thin but very friendly, dinner and breakfast were great, high ceilings in the room, stunning views out the large original windows. Some parts of the room could maybe use a deep sanitize clean, bathroom had an odd aroma. Room and hotel were well appointed otherwise. The walk down to the lifeboat station at sunset was 👌and the hike to Dunskey castle the next morning was incredible.

Only thing I didnt like were the public toilets serving the bar and restruant. Room was good, staff were nice, good location.

Yes. It’s social. Always people hanging out around the lobby and coffee shop. Great vibe

I like the secure lift, the clean room, the daily fresh towel provision, and the quiet room. The layout, though compact, was useful. A large person would have a hard time getting around the foot of the bed past the TV to get to the other side of the bed. I had a learning curve with the A/C but eventually figured it out sufficiently. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar staff had a hard time keeping up with food and drink orders on a Saturday afternoon though it was not crowded. They were helpful, however. The hotel location was great for me.
