"The cottage is small and more suitable for 2 adults, not 4. However cottage has everything you need during your stay. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. 2 level bed in other room needs to be lubricated so it doesn't squeak. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, weather was perfect, lake was full of fish :)"

"Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....

"My extended family and friends had a just wonderful month with Ed and Julie. Ed and Julie are superb hosts and The Blue Heron house is very welcoming with comfortable space for the whole family. We had so much fun with the boats and swimming in the St Lawrence and so much enjoyed this Frontenac Arch region. We took many exploring day trips to surrounding towns and the Rideau Canal. I can not recommend this home and hosts enough."

"Overall, our experience at the shared house fell short of VRBO standards. While each unit offered private space inside, our particular unit lacked a front door (replaced with glass sliding doors), had no BBQ, firepit appeared on the last day, and the front lawn and dock were monopolized by other renters.
