"The house and location are perfect. Far enough away from the crowds but close enough to be right there. The house is very comfortable and very accommodating for our group of 5. The owner is very quick to communicate and offer any help if necessary. We couldn't have asked for an easier and nicer experience."

"Sunrise and sunset over the water of the bay was magical. We were a group of 3 couples, vacationing together and there was more than enough room for all of us. Each couple having their own bathroom was great! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and the outside property area were highlights. Everyone in our group said we had a winner in choosing this house. Check-in and communication with the owners were easy. Would love to stay here again."

"This was the perfect home-base for our trip to Acadia. The view over the water as the sun came up each morning was the true highlight, but we also appreciated the quiet, clean & cozy cottage and the lovely garden setting. There were amenities close by in Blue Hill - grocery, Walgreens, and some restaurants, and Bar Harbor was about an hour drive. Perfect for our stay, and we would definitely recommend it!"
Hidden Gem Cottage' Near Blue Hill Peninsula

"Photos are misleading. The cottage is attached to a house. The photos of the external setting show a place that appears to stand-alone. While we did not see and rarely heard the owners of the house (hosts), we had expected a different (more private) setting. The host did not provide any written instructions about how to use the unique refrigerator / freezer (two drawers in the kitchen cabinet) or the microwave or other “stuff” in the house. On the plus side: Bed was very comfortable, rooms large with high ceilings, large bathroom with shower, and well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated the location, near a land trust (the one hundred acre woods) and a blueberry barren, and the relatively uncrowded area even at the height of tourist season."
