"Great location - walkable to nice restaurants in Shadyside. Didn't ramp up prices during graduation/marathon weekend like most other hotels in Pittsburgh. Clean. Polite staff. Lots of character."

"I reserved this hotel for UPitt Graduation. The location close to campus was convenient. The room and bathroom were clean. What I didn’t like was being woken early on Sunday morning by a marathon and loud music right outside my hotel room window. No sound proofing means I heard everything and had no chance of going back to sleep. "

"We had a great stay in Shadyside! i would say that the walls are thin-- we occasionally heard folks moving around their units or in the stairwells at odd hours, though the quiet hours helped. We slept well, were comfortable, and had a great time visiting- would stay again.Thank you to our hosts!"
