French Foreign Legion Museum Tours

Okay hotel in a convenient central location. Rooms were quiet but not particularly clean. The filtered water was a nice touch. Unfortunately when we arrived we did not have the best experience with Theo at reception. We were told that there was "no reservation under that name". When I said it was booked on Expedia and showed the booking confirmation, and the email I'd received from the hotel the day before, he somehow managed to find the booking, but said that it "hadn't been paid for" (when it had). He was then incredibly rude and told us that if we had an issue we could find another hotel. I have no idea why he was so stand offish with us, or why he said that we had not paid. It really was not a very pleasant first impression of the hotel.

Every room has a wonderful view of the Vieux Port and Notre Dame du Gard. What could be better?

The biggest asset of this property is its prime location with a view over Harbor jutting out into the sea, yet walkable from View Port. The other great asset are the people working there - exceptionally nice, helpful and flexible. The building needs a refresh, it seems to be a 70 ies design, nice and gracious, but finishes, furniture and lighting - are all due to be replaced. The rooms are in good condition, as well as the bathrooms. We felt taken care of at this property, when we needed help, patience and assistance, we got it immediately. Thank you!
