「The hospitality at the Waterstone is top notch. We were greeted by Charmaine, who got us settled and made sure everything was taken care of on our arrival. The next morning we had breakfast out in the garden and pool area. Everything was fresh and delicious, in beautiful surroundings. Load shedding hit during breakfast hours, but Charmaine managed to keep the kitchen running and no one went without hot coffee or toast! Definitely a well run operation. 「A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.」

「It was a lovely stay. We loved the cats, but hadn’t seen them on booking (I’m usually highly allergic, although it matters the cat and the distance from where they usually rest). Everything about the staff and modern rooms and views were perfect!」

「学会出張で利用しました。大学のある街。空港からのタクシーは予約しておきました。小さいながら整えられた可愛い庭を過ぎて玄関へ。フロント係は毎日替わりますがどの方も親切で、こちらのつたない英語にも辛抱して対応していただき、当日前日からのツアーやレストラン、交通手段の予約の相談にのってもらえました。空き時間に行ったペンギンのくる浜辺もテーブルマウンテンも喜望峰を含む半島ツアーも大満足です。部屋に置いてある案内に、街中のおすすめレストランが挙げられてて参考になります。清潔さについては何も問題ないです。アメニティは揃ってたと思いますが自分でも持って行きました。朝ごはんはバイキングですが、卵料理は選べて出来立てがテーブルにきます。スーパーは歩いて10分くらいのところにあります。ほかに水とかスナックを置いてるタバコ屋もあるけど地元民さんと距離が近くて少し怖かったかな。でも南アフリカのイメージと違ってとても穏やかな空気の流れるいい街です。夕暮れに染まるワイン畑と山々には心が洗われました。」

「Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.」

「Sehr schönes Haus, altmodisch, im Stil von 1850. Sehr nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer ging war eine Maisonette. Unten Küche mit allem was man braucht, vor der Tür ein kleiner Pool. Im Obergeschoss Schlafzimmer und Bad. Leider keine Dusche zum inndie Hand nehmen. Regendusche und für die Badewanne kam das Wasser ungewöhnlich aus der Decke.」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! 」

「We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful.」
