1660 Guest House; Waterfall, Creek, Large Deck, Fire Ring

Close to town with country feel. Great Wi-Fi and cell service. Smart Roku TV’s with HDMI cables. Streaming is available using your own account.
Enter the warm, inviting living room with knotty pine walls and white oak floors which has plenty of seating to enjoy the big screen tv.
The dining room has seating for 6 and leads out to a large deck with a gas grill; deck overlooks the waterfall and creek that runs through the expansive meadow. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening while stargazing and listening to the sound of frogs as you sit by the creek.
The spacious kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar has all the amenities (listed) you will need for your stay. A window wall looks out to the deck and meadow. There are gliding windows for a pass through to the outdoor dining table.
The vaulted master bedroom (king bed) has a private full bath with separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. It is attached by double garden doors that open into a sunroom which connects to the dining deck. It also has seating with a big screen tv and window seat.
A guest room (queen bed) on the main level is adjacent to a full bath & shower (deep soaking tub).
The upstairs guest room (double bed) has windows with an elevated view and sound of the waterfall.
Private studio apartment across deck above garage(queen bed) with bath and shower. Space includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and bistro table for two.

The home was perfectly located close to everything…grocery, parks/trails, attractions, and much more. This will definitely be a first consideration when returning to the area on future trips.

Clean and Comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. There were many thoughtful extras including snacks. The property was beautiful with lots of flowers blooming and a very nice waterfall and stream. We had fun playing badminton and basketball. It was very close to shops and restaurants in downtown Franklin.

Franklin Girl’s Trip

We enjoyed our stay in Franklin. The house was easily located to all the attractions and Franklin. The home was comfortable and clean with beautiful decks to enjoy. I think I saw a ground hog! Debe was readily available by text to answer any questions and attraction suggestions. I highly recommend this listing.

Cute place!

Sweet house! This has just about anything you could think of and a well stocked cooking kitchen. The back deck was a perfect hangout under the canopy of trees with the little waterfall sounds. Owners were quick to respond to any questions and there is a book telling house to use everything too. Would stay again!

Fall Colors Bursting

This is our 3rd visit to this beautiful home and property. It is surrounded by beautiful trees that were in full color. The home is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The property is just breathtaking with several outdoor spaces to enjoy. I hope we are able to visit again.

Holiday together

Our Adult family members all got together to celebrate Christmas together a little late. The kitchen itself is amazing and we had a good time cooking together. The bedrooms were set up so that we each had nice private areas, but also large gathering spaces. We really enjoyed our time together!

The house was easy to get to and close to lots of great places. Very spacious master bedroom. Kitchen was immaculate and had anything we needed and then some. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the back yard with the little brook running through it. Wish we had more time to spend here.

Great Mother’s Day

Our stay at this location could not have been more perfect. The house was very comfortable. We celebrated our 98 year old mother who was in a wheelchair. We had no problems navigating her around the area. There is also a very spacious, comfortable studio. The deck on the back side of the house was big enough for all our family to sit and visit. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. I would recommend this house for an enjoyable vacation.

Wonderful place to stay

We spent four nights at this VRBO which is very convenient to downtown Franklin. We had six adults, an aunt and two nieces plus husbands. These owners really know how to run a VRBO. Spacious home with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for 6 people (plus another bed). Checking in and out were both very simple. These owners have thought of everything you might want and have provided it. Highly recommend that you spend some time at this VRBO. Couples were from Hickory, NC, Concord, NC & N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

This home has a very warm and inviting feel. Was very clean and very well stocked. Although we didn’t have any children in our party there was plenty of outdoor access for children to run play and have a good time. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Conveniently located to town.

My family and I absolutely loved the house. There is plenty of room for 6 people. The deck is large and peaceful. The extra studio apartment was a fantastic addition for our family. The house is a close drive to downtown Franklin and only 40 minutes from Bryson City. I would highly recommend the house.
