The Slippery Noodle blues bar 🍻 is a couple blocks south, and great dining options within a few blocks..Be aware that valet parking charges $50, I'm not sure what the area rates are. "

"Stayed at the Alexander to attend an Indiana Fever game. Excellent location downtown near Gainbridge Fieldhouse and a number of shops and restaurants. Hotel has cool art installations. The room was modern and comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely stay here again."

The hotel clearly takes a lot of pride in being part of local history and of the community. The Bottleworks neighborhood location is convenient for Indianapolis and also a cool spot that is rather quieter but still has decent amenities. I would definitely return and recommend. "
