Property is beautiful with secluded sitting areas with water fountains and shade. Fitness center was a little small and divided into two areas. Chilled pool was really nice because of the extreme heat!

Lovely property. Beautiful room, so many thoughtful touches from fresh baked bread, snacks, drinks, made to order breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi were also wonderful. I highly recommend staying here!

We chose L'Auberge de Sedona for its reputation for luxury hospitality, but our experience fell far short. Our 1:30 p.m. lunch reservation at Cress couldn't be found, though we were seated. It then took 35 minutes for our server to take our order. By 2:20 p.m. our appetizers arrived, but our drinks had been forgotten until we asked, and no refills were ever offered. The food was good, but the service was not. There was never an apology for the delays, and the server ended the meal by simply asking, "Are we ready for the check?" The food runner, however, was outstanding. We still tipped 15%, but left very disappointed. We also observed nearby tables experiencing similar delays. We had planned to celebrate a birthday with dinner at Cress that evening, but instead chose to dine elsewhere. Beyond the restaurant, our room bathroom wasn't very clean, fixtures were loose, the vent was hanging from the ceiling, and the furniture was noticeably worn. The mandatory valet service ($35/day plus tax) was consistently rude. Our room overlooked a wedding venue with loud music and noise late into the night, despite the resort's emphasis on tranquility. When we raised our concerns, the concierge made no effort to involve management or resolve them. For a luxury resort charging $600+ per night, For a property that positions itself as a luxury destination, the lack of urgency, accountability, cleanliness, and proactive guest recovery was disappointing and we expected much more.

The hotel can be very noisy due to families withy young children who scream, cry, make noise. There is live music at the pool in the evenings which is annoying - they play repetitive 1970s songs and are disturbing the peace one would have when sitting on the balconies. Guest smoke in the pool area or on their patios and nobody seems to monitor that and enforce the rules. Very bad! It is unpleasant to sit on the balcony with smoke percolating around and making otherwise a potentially beautiful experience almost unbearable. Breakfast is such a cheap disappointment. This kind of hotel could and should do a better job ; scrambled eggs, pork sausage, fried potatoes, waffles... Unimaginative, tasteless, and poor! The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, with a spacious balcony overlooking the pool and the beautiful mountains in the background, with fridge, enough of electronic outlets for plug-ins and USB. The Wi-Fi was OK but not the best - it could be improved. AC was efficient and in good working condition. Smoking and noise really spoiled the experience of my stay - if it wasn't for that, I would give this hotel a high grade, but would instead grade it as unacceptable for now. There is a very nice Mexican restaurant onsite, called Mole. Pleasant service and staff and good food.
