Relaxing Retreat

Everything I could want and more! This condo was perfectly located to the pool, beach, and a quick drive to Destin. The owner has made this spot a relaxing retreat for anyone who wants to get away. Clean, fabulously decorated, and has everything you need to feel like you are at home. Perfect getaway!!

Lots of Fun at Destin West

We loved our stay at Destin West. Bonnie was very communicative throughout the process. It is obvious that she really cares about her properties and making sure her renters have a good time there! Access to beach and pools with the lazy River could not be easier. Plenty of parking even for oversized vehicles. We will return!

Fantastic Getaway

Everything about Bonnie's place was as described and as expected. It was fully furnished with everything we needed. It was extremely convenient being able to leave the beach wagon and toys behind due to limited space in the vehicle and take advantage of those in the condo.

Florida getaway

Truly enjoyed our stay! Unit was just as described - clean and nicely decorated. Close to the beach, good fitness room, well stocked kitchen, good appliances.The main pool outside the room is not heated, the heated pool is accessible but across the street. Overall property in very good shape and clean.Owner was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

We hope to make this a yearly vacation!

This place is everything you expect. Great condo in a privately owned resort like environment. You might expect it to feel small, but we had 6 people and we never felt cramped. We really enjoyed the balcony with its comfy patio couch and chairs. A nice surprise (and now core memory) was on Wednesdays the pier does a huge firework display and we were in the perfect spot. We also appreciated the wash and dryer right in the unit. We came home with clean clothes packed in our bags instead of dirty laundry to wash. All the furniture was comfortable and the linen was so nice. Lots of pillows. Tons of towels. The beach items are all in their own closet in the master bath with places you can hang all your wet swimsuits. All the basic care items you might need if you forget to pack anything. I recommend checking into the condo and scope it out before you hit up the store for your stay. What you are considering buying might already be there.

Great location, great condo, great host

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location is superb - right on the pristine white sand / emerald sea beach, literally seconds from your front door. The most difficult part of the vacation was choosing between the beach or the lazy river! The condo itself is clean, spacious and well-appointed and was perfect for my family of 7. And Bonnie was a wonderful host, very attentive without being intrusive, giving us all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. We have stayed in plenty of places along the coast in Destin / Ft Walton / Gulf Shores over the past 15 years, and this is undoubtedly our favourite for having everything for an amazing vacation!

Great location as far as walking distance or driving to eat and shop! Beautiful view of one of the amazing pools outside of the patio, as well as a view of the beach! Kiddie pool that we couldn’t keep my 2 year old grandson out of! In addition, the hot tub came in so handy as I strained my back. The walk to the beach is right off of the main swimming pool! Condo itself was super clean and perfect for our family group of 6. The staff maintaining Destin West is so professional making sure every aspect of the property looks great! I only regret not getting to go on the Lazy River, but it didn’t work out after my back issue. As far as the resourcefulness and promptness of the owner, there is none comparable to Bonnie Perry! From the time I booked back in December, she has been the most helpful in answering all of my spur of the moment questions! She texted, emailed, and called to make sure I was informed and gave the best advice on everything from what to bring for a toddler, what to pack, and where to eat for a specific cuisine! I look forward to next summer already! ❤️👍🏝️

Relaxing Getaway

We had a blast on our family trip to Destin West. With everything being onsite and walkable it was a stress free way to vacation with kids. We spent the days at the beach and lazy river and found time for a swim at night. The condo is spacious, clean, and very comfortable.Bonnie is a wonderful host and we wouldn't hesitate to book this location again in the future.
