Mermaid Hideaway at El Matador Unit 621!

This is a wonderful Studio apartment at the El Matador complex on Okaloosa Island with a beautiful balcony view, close walk to the beautiful private beach, close to tennis courts, seasonally heated pool, gym, and hot tub. The unit is well equipped and cozy, kitchen fully furnished, with one King bed and a queen sofa sleeper. There are two beach chairs and an umbrella that I keep in the closet that you are welcome to take with you to the beach. This is a unique and tranquil hideaway at the El Matador!!

This unit is very clean and quiet, a lot of amenities at this property, James was easy to communicate with and responded promptly— would definitely stay here again - my only recommendation- replace the couch I’m sure it’s just time and being used - bed was great also!! Enjoyed my stay !!!

My son & I spent 3 nights and had a great stay. Loved the location as it was safe & quiet, yet close to all area attractions. Great beach, pools, gym, hot tub & sauna! Appreciated the beach chairs and towels, along with kitchen & bath supplies. Great size for an efficiency unit. James kept in contact & we had no issues. Can't wait to return!

It was a great place! Clean & James was very easy to communicate with. The pool was close, beach was about a 5 minute walk with 2 small babies. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Would not hesitate to book with James again!

The unit was very clean and well organized. It was just the two of us, but would have been comfortable for 2 couples. There were some issues with the elevator, but it was only out of operation for a few hours.

The property owner was very responsive to questions. Very pleased with the property, cleanliness, even the bed was comfortable. A little tight for 4 people, but manageable... anything bigger in the destin area with brach location like this was just too expensive. There was washer and dryer on property and vending. Very nice pool at the bottom of the stairs It is the 2nd pool on the property hidden back a little bit, very quiet compared to the bigger pool

Great value

It’s a very comfortable place, clean, tastefully decorated, but most importantly functional. Fill kitchen , open floor plan , nice views. Really the only negative and it really wasn’t bad, was it seemed like it was a private bedroom when it actually was open to the entire home, studio fashion. Even though that was unexpected it still worked out perfectly for us. All in all incredible value for the money.
