A Warm Week Getaway

Property was a great location, had superb service on every level. Staff went out of thier way to make you comfortable and happy. Noticed a few updates like painting and cleaning that could be improved...but overall no complaints! Would stay there again for sure.

We were a bit suspect of this listing, but it’s a real thing! Great location, very comfortable room with all the amenities of a hotel resort. Would go back and definitely recommend! And less expensive then booking through hotel.

We loved the room and the view from the balcony was amazing! The pool and cafe/restaurant are wonderful and right in the property. The beach access with chairs and umbrellas were great! The check in process was fine. Although the room was huge and the view breathtaking, the room, decor, and bathroom were outdated. We only stayed one night then checked into a different room the following night which was a regular hotel room. The regular hotel room was updated, bright, and lovely.

Two-night stay in king suite with ocean view balcony

The room was absolutely beautiful-BUT……..the tv, hair dryer, air conditioner and phones weren’t working correctly, there was no ice cube tub, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well enough, the sink was grimy, and we had endless problems trying to order room service - however, the view was spectacular - unfortunately it rained the whole time like a monsoon so no beach time, but the bed linens were amazing, the room itself was perfect - it just seemed like a comedy of errors with how many things weren’t working for a nearly 500 a night hotel room.

Parking is an issue

Just a BIG heads up, there is a 55 a day parking fee that was not disclosed anywhere on the VRBO description of the rental. And there is nowhere else that you can park due to the location of the rental. So that extra money was not an expected added expense! I reached out to the resort but they told me it was listed in “Amenities” but it just stated parking available. I am hoping they have changed that so no one else is caught off guard.Nice to have beach chairs and umbrella available to use with no cost. Pool chairs go quick so have to get there early!Room was spacious and nice. Keurig coffee pot available. Water pressure left much to be desired. Overall a nice place but unexpected large parking fee kind of ruined it for me.

Double charged

Paid through VRBO and upon check in had to give credit card to front desk for check in. Was told it was for vallet and damage liability. They charged me for room and vallet. I reached out to Pelican Grand and in months time got no response. I sent message to property owner through VRBO and got no response. Being charged over $750 for one nights stay!

Almost Paradise

This room is spacious with a SPECTACULAR view. The front desk is as accommodating as they can be with this being a third party owned by a person not the actual hotel. Restaurants very limited (they have a kids menu they do not advertise if you are allergic to seafood/and meat proteins. The Host does not communicate well as we had no phone working the entire time of our stay hotel said she would have to have it fixed. The room itself needs caulking around tub and a deep dusting cleaning wise. Pod coffee maker a small refrigerator and book your pool chairs as earlier as 8 am and beach chairs as well. I will repeat this room has an Amazing View and I’d spacious!
