「What a lovely little cabin. This was exactly as presented online and had extra amenities that weren’t listed. The view out the windows of the cabin was across a meadow with a creek running through it and green tree covered mountains in the background. In three days we saw elk in the meadow 5 times. Excellent common areas and air hockey was a fan favorite too. Highly recommended! 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the "Spacious Haven with Balcony." The owner was very responsive and the unit had everything we really needed. Would have liked a little more information on the unit's layout. For example, the bathroom is upstairs and only accessible by going through the master bedroom. Also, the balcony is above another unit.」

「Over we had a great experience! Bathrooms were incredibly clean! You must be okay with dogs occasionally barking, one of the owners dogs even came into our yurt but he was super friendly! Super close to the sand dunes and zapata falls! The yurt was closer to the house and camper than I thought but definitely a safe area! We took a walk around the subdivision and it was super nice with pretty views! The host is very on top of things and communicates well! I would stay again!!!」

「This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!」

「We spent our time at Cuchara Park and this home was the perfect location for us. The Host goes above and beyond here. I highly recommend this place - I will still hear next time we come through La Veta. The house has everything you need! Perfect for a man like me who loves chopping wood and having fires. The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did.」

「A relaxing and peaceful place to stop for the night, arrived in clouds and rain which then cleared to beautiful snow-covered mountains. Jessica, the host, communicated well with check-in instructions. The quaint and cute unit was very clean and well-supplied. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. 「Barb's home was so comfortable. She put so much thought into every detail with more useful items than I would have thought to ask for. There were also fresh flowers that really put the cherry on top. The location can't be beat to enjoy the night sky and drive to Great Sand Dunes National Park. We loved stopping by Great Sand Dunes Oasis on the way to the park, but knew we were already at the best "oasis."」
