Overall: 3/5The location is a 5/5 and the biggest reason to stay here. The house itself is actually three separate apartments connected only by exterior stairs, which wasn't clear in the listing. Also, the upstairs bedroom advertised with a daybed actually has a bunk bed with a trundle. If you're traveling with multiple families or young kids, accurate sleeping arrangements matter. The A/C worked intermittently for the first three days. After several calls (and having to be much more assertive than I should have), they finally sent someone out and fixed it that day. No discount was offered for the inconvenience.Water pressure was very poor, making it difficult to rinse off after showers. Wi-Fi maxed out around 35/35 Mbps, which may not be enough for multiple users or remote work.Although advertised for 12 guests, there weren't enough towels or washcloths. The cleaning supplies were empty, and one bed had sheets that didn't fit, so we had to buy our own.Other issues included confusing light switches, lawn maintenance during our stay without notice, and one BBQ grill missing its propane tank. Finally, I specifically asked the concierge before arrival if beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. I was told no and was offered rentals for 125/day. We later discovered the house already had chairs and umbrellas. Better communication and a more accurate listing would have made for a much better experience.
