"Green acres is such a gem in the cute town of Floyd! Surprised it was not full to the gills. Bruce the owner was kind and very accommodating. The pond was such a wonderful gift to escape from the heat stocked full of paddle boards and kayaks. The spring fed pond was full of nature. The inflatable trampoline provided hours of play for the kiddo’s and adult’s alike! The amenities were perfect. "

"Came to the area for a mountain bike race and this home was just right for our weekend in the mountains. The home is just as described on the site and the owners went above and beyond to make sure you have all the comforts of home. Would recommend for anyone needing a quiet retreat. The small town of Floyd, VA is a great place to walk around and enjoy unique shops and dining experiences during your stay and is only 3 miles from the property. "

It was comfy, warm, and exactly as shown on the VRBO app. I did bring some of my own kitchen tools, but found the place well set up and I was able to easily prep for the dishes I bring. "We highly recommend booking a stay. The cottage was extremely welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing the provided games. The bathhouse wasn’t a far walk and was very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Pet friendly as well, loved bringing my dog!"

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"Cleanest, nicest Hampton I have been in for many years. It is set up very well and spacious though it is a “studio” room. At 11 pm the hot water in the dispenser in the lobby was still hot and housekeeping and check in clerk both personalized my stay. Great job!"
