An amazing hotel with lovely friendly and welcoming staff. It felt like being welcomed into someone's family for a week. The room was spacious and well maintained. The food in Coast 2 Coast was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating. A lovely peaceful, friendly and quiet hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely resort, poor value and quality food

The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. Staff were really kind but didn’t always get food orders right. The food is average and massively overpriced which would prevent us from going back.

Lovely hotel 50mins drive from airport - comprises of villas only. Well maintained modern/ colonial type decor. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food is excellent- exceeded expectations. 3 restaurants on site, plus you can use your credit at the 3 restaurants at the Sands Hotel next door ( sister hotel). Snorkelling on site not great, but they offer complimentary snorkelling trips further out. Beach is lovely but beach beds could do with new mattresses. Spa is very busy and good- needs booking in advance. Flic en Flac public beach nearby with local restaurants and shops, but most sights need a cab/car to get to. Driving is same as in UK.

Kein "Leading Hotel of the World"

Das Hotel ist per se ansprechend aber es ist im Vergleich zu anderen "The Leading Hotels of the World" insbesondere im Hinblick auf den Service schlichtweg schlecht. Nur drei Fälle von vielen: 1)An der Live Cooking Crepe Station wird man erst auf die bereits lagernden pappigen Crepes verwiesen und wenn man darum bittet , ein neues Crêpe zu machen, wird einem sehr deutlich genervt ein Teigmatsch kreiert, der nichts mit einem Crêpe zu tun hat, sondern allenfalls als pappiger Pfannkuchen taugt... 2)Kurz bevor es offensichtlich beginnen würde zu regnen, wurde man vom offiziell geöffneten und überdachten Bereich des Restaurants an die 30 Meter entfernte Strandbar geschickt, weil schon für den Abend eingedeckt war. Es ist dabei zu bemerken, daß so gut wie keine anderen Gäste anwesend waren... Als es dann begann zu nieseln, sind wir eigenmächtig ins Restaurant zurück und wurden entsprechend mißmutig empfangen. 3)Der Service ist nicht in der Lage eine Flasche Wein ordentlich zu öffnen. Man zieht den Korken durch Kapsel und bröselt dann die zerstörten Teile mit den Fingern ab ! Unterirdisch ! Man stelle sich vor, die hätten so den Chateau Petrus geöffnet, der auf der Karte stand... Fazit: Ein Chateau Petrus auf der Karte und ein Rolls Royce in der Garage für Exkursionen macht noch kein "Leading Hotel of the World" ! Ansonsten ist die Anlage und der Strand schön . Die Villas sind sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist gut aber nicht herausragend.

Vacation with small child

The hotel is a bit older, but relatively good maintained. It is located almost at the end of the beach in Flic en Flac. It is on a quite large area and has quite long beach so you have feeling there is almost nobody in the hotel and you have a lot of privacy. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The water is clear with some grass areas. We used the possibility of snorkeling provided by the each day. Otherwise, there are limited fishes close to shore as the depth of the water is not big in the reserved swimming area. We had been on half-board, but both (breakfast and dinner) is served as a la carte so it takes long time to eat, which is not ideal if you have 3 years old child with you. Meals were good and it was possible to chose within the menu. The restaurant in which the breakfast is served is opened and there are many birds flying in and trying to get their breakfast too, mainly early morning when there are not many guests there. The birds are quite aggressive, stepping on the cutting board for bread and the knife, coming to your table when you are seating there, etc., which was disgusting and against basic hygienic standards. The hotel should do something with it. You can get something for eat or drink also on the beach from the beach bar. There is not an electronic system installed at the beach to call a waiter from the beach bar to make an order, so sometimes it takes a lot of time to get what you want or you should go directly to the bar to make an order.

We had a wonderful week at Maradiva in November 2021. There are so many positives it’s difficult to remember to list them all: stunning location, perfect tropical beach, warm seas, large comfortable and stylish private villas, good food, exceptional warm and friendly service, beautiful spa… I could go on. The two things that really make Maradiva stand out from other luxury properties we have stayed in are the space and sense of exclusivity (you are never crowded at Maradiva, you are always treated as an individual) and the wonderful friendly and courteous staff who make you feel so welcome.

Que du bonheur

Hôtel superbe, très bien fleuri, sur la plage. Très calme, idéal pour un séjour en amoureux. Personnel très attentionné sans être obséquieux. Restaurants extra ( surtout l’indien) , spa fantastique. Aucun point négatif.

Sans nul doute l’hôtel le plus mémorable que nous ayons fréquenté. Un accueil irréprochable, un service de qualité, un environnement chaleureux, digne de votre réputation. Le restaurant propose des plats savoureux et raffinés. Le personnel est aux petits soins et attentif à chacune de nos demandes. Une mention particulière à Yeshta ainsi qu’au chef du restaurant. Vous resterez dans nos mémoires. Un immense bravo, continuez ainsi !

Unique et exceptionnel

Prestation exceptionnelle, la grande classe ! Un personnel exemplaire et un niveau de service parfait que nous aimerions voir dans nos hôtels 5 étoiles français.... Bien évidement, le site ainsi que la prestation d’hébergement (maisons individuelles) sont uniques. A consommer sans aucune modération !!!

Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du personnel. Gros coup de cœur pour le service en plage, les garçons sont au top. Les suites Nous avons moins aimé, le buffet "mauricien" du dimanche soir qui n'est pas à la hauteur point de vue Qualité/ Prix

Schöne Anlage mit einem wunderschönen Garten, Personal sehr aufmerksam, tolles Essen, schöner Strand. Spa ausgezeichnet, Ayurveda-Arzt im Haus steht kostenlos zur Beratung zur Verfügung. Personal sehr bemüht Toller Aufenthalt.

Excellent facilities, large villas with individual plunge pools, great beach, nice restaurants. But for me the best feature of the hotel was the service. It was Mauritian hospitality at its best. Will certainly stay again. Thanks for a memorable stay
