「Our stay at the farmhouse was excellent. Our family enjoyed the dinners around the large dining room table and the s’mores at the fire pit one evening. Using the grill was easy; everything needed was there for cooking and cleaning. Grabbed a 1860 book at a nearby Hobart bookstore, enjoyed lunch from the Bakers Grimm in Delhi and dinner another night at a brewery in Cooperstown following an hour drive to the baseball hall of fame. There was a snowstorm while we were there and someone came early to plow and shovel our pathway. We received a detailed guide for local activities and establishments. Would love to visit again! 」

「The host was lovely however I regret to say that the place was filthy. The cluttered kitchen had a layer of grime on everything, all the dishes and pots and pans looked dirty, the garbage pail in the kitchen hadn't been emptied, the box holding the paper towels was dusty and full of crumbs, and the tea kettle was so grungy that I didn't even want to touch it. 「Good trio. Hot tub was great! There is a basketball court nearby for the kids. We went during off season so very quiet and safe. Townspeople were nice. We came a bit early and met the cleaning crew, who were locals. They were very nice and gave is helpful tips. Place was clean, relatively spscious, nice fireplace. It was good trip. Only downside was I wsd expecting the kids to have pool access. But the property hsd closed it for the season. Bummer, but not a big deal as the kids could play...

「Property was double booked through a different platform. Another guest was there when we arrived. Host was completely unresponsive at all stages. Because the property is remote, this caused more than a slight inconvenience in terms of locating other lodging more than an hour away.」
