"We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful property, the secluded feeling, hot tub, spacious feeling house with options for a comfy stay in or options for hanging outdoors. The host was top notch, even checking in a few times via text to see how we were enjoying the stay and to see if we needed anything! The only problem with our stay was it was not long enough yet it left us wanting to book again in the not too distant future!"

"My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Lakeside Cottage to check out the area. From the moment I stepped through the front door, the cottage reminded me of a lake cottage I used to stay in as a kid during our summer trips to Wisconsin. It is so quaint and cozy with amazing views of the lake. The hosts are wonderful, the amenities terrific and I would highly recommend this property if you are touring the area. There are so many things to do within a short drive and lovely to come home to such a cute house after our day's adventure was done. "

"This was our second time renting this lovely home. Perfect spot for our "Lake Week" with family coming from Colorado, Delaware,New York and Mi. Nestled in the woods on beautiful Long Lake, our large group had lots of room for games, cooking and relaxing on the deck. The dock area is perfect for sunning, kayaking and boating. "Communication and check-in was very seamless. The house was very clean and comfortable for us all. We loved the neighborhood - very close to the lake. We used this house as our central location to go to the wineries and Sleeping Bear Dunes. At night, we enjoyed the firepit behind the house. We would have loved to stay longer."

"My husband, 25 year-old daughter and Irented this cottage for eight days due to its proximity to Traverse City but away from the hustle and bustle. Mickey Lake is absolutely precious with so much wildlife, including loons everywhere and bald eagles! It is a true classic cottage with many original features and overlooks the water, if you are looking for a waterfront getaway, you can’t get any closer than this! The beds were comfy and the linens clean the kitchen was well appointed. There was a dock with plenty of space for us to tie off our boat. The fire pit is right down by the waterfront and made for beautiful evenings, sitting and chatting. The gas grill worked great and there were plenty of closets to hang things up. If you are a boater look no further, there is a boat launch about a five minute walk down the street to launch your boat. The Wi-Fi worked great and plenty of comfortable seating in the family room and front porch. I highly recommend this beautiful little corner of Paradise!"
