「昨年の８月初旬にケープタウンに訪問した折、街の中心である駅周辺のホテルに滞在しました。その辺りは治安が良い訳ではなく、郊外は非常に治安が良いことが分かった為、今回は郊外で宿泊先を手配しました。街中や港地区にはタクシー or レンタカーが一般的です。私は電車で駅前迄、往復しましたが、よほど旅慣れていないと、「無謀」ということになるでしょう。空港や街中までのタクシー代が嵩むので、短期滞在には向かないかもしれません。ホテルは設備、清掃は良い。スタッフは少ないですが、英語が話せれば特に困ることは無いでしょう。」

「The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside.
