Built in the 15th century, Plane Tower offers self-catering accommodation for 4–6 guests. Steeped in history, it exudes the atmosphere of a bygone era. With its thick stone walls, battlements, and steep spiral staircase, it is every inch a medieval Scottish castle — yet with all the modern comforts you need.
Perfectly positioned near Stirling, the tower is within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and an ideal base for exploring the Highlands and beyond.

Accommodation is spread over four floors:
Entrance Level – Entrance hall and fully equipped kitchen
First Floor – Banqueting hall with a magnificent medieval stone fireplace and painted ceiling depicting the castle’s history
Second Floor – Two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a shower room
Top Floor – “Crown Room” – Large sitting room with views of Ben Lomond and the Ochil Hills. Can also be split to provide an additional bedroom (two single beds)

Guests have access to the castle’s extensive gardens, which include:

Lawns and seating areas
A small lake
A whimsical “hobbit hole” — perfect for children to explore
Plane Tower can also be rented together with the adjacent Manor House, accommodating up to 14 guests in total.
