Above Asheville, Art House

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (24)
"We had a wonderful nice short little getaway here! It was a very relaxing 2 days! Loved all the natural light from all the windows! Also, a very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Sadly, it rained the entire time, but we very much enjoyed the gas firepit under the covered porch and the hottub as well under a covered porch. We were able to bring our 2
dogs
, which was wonderful as well. They enjoyed the time as much as we did! Thank you both for being very accommodating!"

"I had no communication from the owner and no key, code, no nothing. The day we were supposed to arrive i had to call VRBO and they got the owner on 4th try. It was overbooked. My reservation was cancelled and we had no place to stay. VRBO found us a hotel and paid for 2 nights. I was grateful but i dont like hotels. The owner failed to communicate at all till after the fact. I would not recommend at all."

Wintersun.. A World Class Private Estate Atop A Mountain 15 min from Asheville

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (257)
"We reserved Wintersun to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. The porches, views, trails, and wildlife made the celebration extra special. We found most of the trails to be very well maintained. Landscaping is also quite impressive. (Nice work, Alex and crew!) We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys on the main lawn each morning/evening. Staff were very responsive and helpful (no problems, just questions!). Neighbors stopped to help us take photographs. I can't wait to go back. Judy and her staff have...
