「Stayed in room 102. The hotel is a beautiful log cabin design with a lot of neat touches such as the carved bears in the staircases. The room is a nice size with a mini fridge that is only big enough for a couple drinks. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. A large variety of sweets, cereal, fresh bread and even eggs and bacon. Had no issues getting the code or opening the lockbox that held the key. Recommended. Close to Skogafoss and the amazing hike to Kvernufoss.」
「The only issue was checking in. I didn’t have my code which was supposed to be emailed to me or the cottage number. That caused me a lot of stress because we were almost late arriving. 」

Only thing you should be aware of is, that there’s no restaurants or shops nearby. You must bring your own food.」
「This small Inn was located in a lovely setting with a great view of the Westman Islands. The staff were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - especially the mussels and the bread! The spa with hot tub and sauna were terrific. A great experience for the equestrians with trail rides available! 「Stayed here a couple nights as a base of operations while exploring around Vik. Check in and check out we're all self-serve, which was easy. Location is nice, right across the street from some good restaurants and a cafe for breakfast.」

"Modern, clean, comfortable hotel in the area. Easy access to the key destination in south. Staff at the reception and dining were very friendly. Amenities in the bathroom were not renewed for the multiple nights stay (maybe only on request basis), and complimentary tea bags and used cups were not replaced. The hotel is located conveniently in front of Route 1, so a little noisy during the day, but will be quiet in the evening."
