Nice house and good breakfast. Checking in went very smooth because we did receive a code to retrieve the while in advance of the check-in time. Sort of odd not having any interaction with his workers at the hotel but everything went very smooth.

Set in a gorgeous location, hotel Lambafell feels like a wooden ski lodge! The rooms were very clean and it had really good amenities. An excellent breakfast was included too. Thank you for the stay!

The location is very isolated, there is no restaurant, grocery nearby, I got trapped (i am lucky, the trap didn't cause a big issue though it was pretty bad) in the bathroom due to the water leaking from the roof due to the rain, emailed the message through the expedia platform to the property manager trying to report the water leaking matter and hoping they can change to a room for us, but never got any response, we also connected through whatup from the property manager, thus no response at all from the property manager for the water leaking issue, very disappointed

Despite an on-site phone being advertised and whatsapp number provided for issues at check-in, there were no answered calls or messages from the hotel after arriving to a tiny room with 1 bed, although a superior room with two separate beds was confirmed. The shower water constantly switched between luke warm, cold and hot, all floorboards squeaked so other guests could be heard walking around, and multiple flies were sitting all over the uncovered breakfast foods. Somehow this hotel is getting away with poor service and unfulfilled promises.

L'hébergement était parfait sauf que les indications pour y arriver sont épouvantable. Place difficile à trouver. Notre arrivée à été rock'n'roll. Nous avons appelé au moins 80 fois avant d'arriver et jamais eu de réponse. Silence radio. Une Manager qui se fout des clients. Personne ne réponds même au numéro d'urgence.

Was not expecting this to be an unstaffed “hotel” if that’s what you want to call it. There is no staff onsite, you get a code the day of arrival emailed to you (better hope you have reception) that allows you to open a key lock. Then you have to figure out where your room is in what seems to be a house converted into numerous rooms. It is more Air BnB/VRBO than it is a hotel. Very confusing

This place looks great in photos and it's in a beautiful location, but it was apparently designed by people who have never stayed in a hotel before. There was no place to put suitcases or clothes (aside from one awkwardly-placed armoire), no shelves or drawers. No cups in the bathroom. The shower was ridiculously narrow. The headboard for the bed was a heater. The bedside lights were far enough from the bed that you had to get up to turn them off. The breakfast was some mediocre commercially made pastries, room temperature bacon and a coffee machine. The emailed instructions said that checking in after 9PM was impossible! After a long day of driving, we had to rush to make that deadline, and it turned out not to even be true. And aside from that, the place was designed to absolutely eliminate any human contact with anyone working there--from checking in to leaving, we saw exactly one cleaning lady who did not speak English. And it cost as much as a Midtown New York hotel! I would not stay here again on a bet.

Property was Very clean and rooms were cosy and comfortable Check-in was not ideal. They sent an email that day itself about check-in instructions but we didn't know about it and there was no one around to help or answer questions. It was a guest who told us if we got any messages that we checked or email. Then we had issues with correcting to Wi-Fi as data reception was not great. Breakfast selection was not great. Would be great if they offered more fruit and salad.

Fine continental breakfast. The hot tub isn’t hot, just kind of lukewarm and as this is Iceland it’s frickin’ cold outside so you can’t really enjoy the soak. 😕 It needs to be maintained consistently at 100 - 102 degrees F or provide some means for guests to add some additional hot water while they are in it. Oh, and while I’m on the subject of hot water, the water pressure in the room fluctuates periodically and the shower fluctuates between quite hot and icy cold every few minutes. That needs to be addressed!

The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold.
