"Nancy and Gregory were so welcoming and helpful with things to do, the location was peaceful and relaxing and the breakfasts were amazing! We enjoyed every minute of our time there!"

"A bright, well furnished, clean and open unit. The kitchen was very well equipped. The children loved the pool and hot tub. Only a few minutes drive to either Rathtrevor Beach or Parksville Community Park and Beach (perfect for the kids). The only thing that would have made it even better would have been if it had been more walkable to beaches, shops etc. "

"The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. "Quiet little suite, easy to find and the location is convenient for day tripping. All amenities in the little kitchen and the local coffee provided was Delish (brand to grind then a French press) Comfortable bed, pillows amd bedding, and the couches, and my favorite part was the reading nook/window seat with the view out to the sea. 10/10 Excellent

"It's the perfect spot if you are arriving from the ferry and need a place to stay for the night. I arrived there at 11 p.m. Check-in was easy, and communication was great and helpful. It is not quiet, so it is probably not the best for a long stay, but it is definitely very convenient, and everything was efficient. Also, it is pet-friendly, and that was the positive part for us. We will return if we arrive late at night or leave with the early morning ferry. "

"This hotel helped me turn what could’ve been a disaster of a vacation into a decent few days in Nanaimo and area. The Nanaimo Harbour is right across the street and Nanaimo Old City Quarter is a ten minute walk south. The building is older and there’s a busy highway on one side and I could tell when my neighbours were showering but the building was clean and the outside was tidy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure beat the dirt off my skull and we never ran out of hot water. The complimentary breakfast is simple but efficient and the breakfast room is kept tidy and well stocked until closing. In the lobby, I took advantage of the ice water jug to fill water bottles for the day and in the evenings used the hot water from the carafe for tea. The front desk staff were kind enough to open the breakfast room so I could get decaf tea in the evenings. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay here again."
