There were too many amenities to list, and the care and attention to details made us decide we would book this property again, with family next time. "Cozy little cottage that was just a minute walk from the beach, and a 10 minute walk from the lighthouse. The owner left a bowl of fresh produce for us from the local farmers market which we used in our dinner each night. The cupboards and fridge were stocked with the necesssities which we were happy to have when cooking dinner. "Lovely small house right in the heart of Trinidad. Very clean. And very convenient to the beaches and the redwoods. Trinidad is a gem, and I hope it stays largely undiscovered. It’s a perfect place to experience and explore the magic of the Northern California coast with out huge crowds. I’ll definitely be back!"

"We love staying at Jane’s Cottage! It’s cozy, clean, and well-appointed. It’s very close to campus, so it’s perfect for visiting my daughter who is a student there. The communication with the property manager is remarkably prompt and attentive. We’ve stayed two times so far, and look forward to staying again!"

"I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!"

"This rental was wonderful! It is so comfy and cozy I could easily live in it year round. The proximity to the beach was perfect: very easy walk. The back yard was great for the dogs. The little oil stove in the livingroom was perfect on those rainy mornings. I would highly recommend this property!"

"This property was absolutely amazing. From the location to everything we wanted to see to the views from every room in the cottage. Full kitchen with everything you need and 2 full bathrooms. The old cabin was my favorite part for after a long day of hiking to kick back and watch football. Overall one of our top 5 placea we have been and we have been on 27 trips in the past 4 years."

"My teen son and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home over Spring Break. It is the perfect home base for visiting the Redwood parks. It is challenging to find; look for laminated signs directing you past the farmhouse. The property managers did not give us the key code until we arrived, which was frustrating. Once inside the home it is well-appointed and quite lovely. It had everything that we needed, and we were grateful for the nice kitchen, good beds, white linens (!), and hot showers!"

"We were very impressed with this home, and the furnishings, comfortable, clean, and homey with lovely antiques and a kitchen that is very well equipped and easy to work in. We had a Thanksgiving feast with family members cooking together which can be chaotic, but it turned out to be very enjoyable."

"This property was beautifully kept, squeaky clean and well decorated! Lots of privacy and near the avenue of the redwoods, golf courses and close enough to town for anything you might need. The kitchen is well equipped, they have thought of everything! We will definitely stay here again!"

"Our stay at Bob’s place was perfect. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a landing pad before and after a long day of hiking. The backyard is beautiful and so relaxing to sit out on the patio with a morning coffee. We enjoyed the proximity to nearby Trinidad where we had a couple meals and visited the beach. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely return."

"Really interesting layout, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, good heating system. There was some activity outside at night since this is a downtown location, but it was all within reason. Walkable to many destinations in Eureka and to the water. Would stay here again"

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."
